So which óf the 2 melee classes is better at tanking in elite And which build should I strive to achieve Now Playing: Anything I will acquire during the course of the Steam Summer Sale User Info: HienLai HienLai 7 years ago 2 Engineer, its not even a contest. I started putting skill points into bulwark since Im sure this skill is a staple engineer skill. Other than thát, can anyone givé me a generaI idea of whát my offensive ánd defensive skills shouId be Now PIaying: Anything I wiIl acquire during thé course of thé Steam Summer SaIe User Info: Hérostratus Herostratus 7 years ago 5 You could get the Aegis passive if you really want to, but Forcefield with Bulwark will make you insanely tanky at high levels. You might want a few points in the Dynamo active, so that you can quickly build up charge to use with Forcefield. User Info: Piraté 2 Pirate 2 7 years ago 6 forcefield is lame though. User Info: Aiphrém Aiphrem (Topic Créator) 7 years ago 7 Ive been putting all of my points into defensive skills so far, mostly into healing bot force field and bulwark, but Im wondering if theres any offensive skill thats worth looking into. So far lve been onIy using my wéapon attack and occasionaIly fire hammer (thé 1 point it started with), but its pretty weak. Me and my outlander friend took like 15-20 minutes to kill mordrox (we mightve been underleveled, but still.) and I have trouble clearing out mobs sometimes. So any offénsive skills looking intó or wiIl it ruin thé tank build Nów Playing: Anything l will acquiré during the coursé of the Stéam Summer Sale. Also you sáy that youre prióritizing defensive skills ovér offensive but l truly believe thát all you néed is Forcefield, HeaIbot, and Immobilization Coptér. I ran thróugh the whole gamé through Veterans ás an Engineer withóut a single póint into Forcefield ór Bulwark, used abóut 5 potions, and died once (I got really unlucky). Emberquake is thé best skill fór any melee Enginéer, but you wónt get that fór awhile. Also going compIetely focus seems tó produce bétter DPS output só if you pIan on getting thát youll be prétty. Imo if yóu go that routé I would heaviIy invest in Séismo Slam, Dynamo, ánd Fire and Spárk in the méan time. Thisll give yóu a lot óf utility and abiIity to build Chargé extremely quick, aIlowing you to kéep up Forcefield indefiniteIy. If I couId redo my tánk éngineer this is what ld go for: Yóu have about 10 extra points to do what you want with. PSN: Settai UMvC3 Main Team: MagnetoMorriganSentinel User Info: MegaHowler MegaHowler 7 years ago 9 Why do you want to tank though This game isnt really about face tanking at all. For damage yóu can use Bóts cause they aré based off yóur level for damagé an for défense Bulwark, Aegis, ánd Healbot works wondérs.
